WorkLoad Manager for RedHat

Today, I recived an email from Adam B. suggesting I follow this link “Tuning Your System with tuned” and read it…. Sort of like the AIX Workload Manager except if I recall correctly the last one does not have the ability to be “switched on/off” by cron or some other means. It is a very interesting reading material, indeed.

    Mark,

What about wlmcntrl -o command to stop WLM on AIX?

  2. MarkD:-) says

Jason, you are right. This command could be used to start/stop AIX WorkLoad Manager (for example via cron).
Years ago, I looked at WLM and now it seems that it is time to look at it again.

    Thanks for your comment!
